Rich and Famous Brownies.
Rumor has it that My 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies are about to arrive. If you resemble my family you simply cant get enough Girl Scout cookies and you might even be questioning how you could really produce dishes utilizing these delicious cookies.
I went on the hunt for some tasty dishes and thought I would share what I found over on the Girl Scout web site. (there are lots more there)
1 cup evaporated milk2 cups mini marshmallows1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1/3 cup sugar1/8 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 tablespoons butter3 cups Thin Mint cookies, crushed into crumbs 1/2 cup nuts, sliced.
Samoa Kiss Brownies.
Mix together milk, marshmallows, chocolate chips, sugar and salt in microwaveable bowl. Give a boil in microwave. Stir well and cook in microwave an extra 2 minutes at medium high heat. Remove from microwave. Add butter, vanilla, and sliced nuts. Break Thin Mint cookies into crumbs and contribute to mix. Pack into a 9-inch square pan. Refrigerate till hard. Cut into two-inch squares
1 box Devils Food Cake Mix1/3 cup vaporized milk 3/4 cup melted butterMini Chocolate Kisses 3/4 cup caramels, melted 1/2 package SamoasCoconut.
Strawberry Angel Surprise.
Mix cake mix, evaporated milk and butter. Put half of mixture into a 9 ″ x 13 ″ pan. Bake at 350 ° for six minutes. Spray one cup Kisses on top. Spread melted caramel over Kisses. Include 1/2 box crushed Samoas and one tablespoon toasted coconut. Pour remaining cake batter on leading and bake 10 minutes. Drizzle with melted Kisses and sprinkle with coconut.
1 box Angel Food Cake Mix2 cups light whipping cream 1/2 cup powdered sugar10 fresh whole strawberries2 cups defrosted, unsweetened strawberries (chopped) 1 tube of Trefoils (reserve 10 entire cookies– break the rest into small pieces).
Break Thin Mint cookies into crumbs and add to mixture. Sprinkle one cup Kisses on top. Reserve 2 1/2 cups of the whipped cream and mix with the broken cookies. Cut 5 of the entire cookies in half, and alternate cookies and strawberries at bottom of the cake and on sides. Crush staying cookies and sprinkle on top.
Bake cake according to directions. Cool. Whip cream and powdered sugar. Mix in strawberries. Reserve 2 1/2 cups of the whipped cream and blend with the broken cookies. Split cake into thirds. Spread half of the cookie/cream mix onto bottom layer. Add next cake layer and spread remaining cookie/cream mixture on top. Place 3rd cake layer on top. Spread top of cake and sides with remaining whipped cream. Cut 5 of the entire cookies in half, and alternate cookies and strawberries at bottom of the cake and on sides. Crush staying cookies and sprinkle on top.
