Westland Residences proposition for a 52,532 SF Metrotown land assembly at 6450-6508 Telford Opportunity will head to public hearing next week.

The website will be subdivided into 2 legal parcels. The proposition on the northern parcel is for a 51-storey high increase structure comprised of 44 levels of market strata property uses atop an industrial podium with 6 levels of workplaces and one level of street fronting retail. The southern parcel is proposed to be developed with a 22-storey market and non-market rental home structure.

The Metrotown Downtown Plan designates the subject website for high-density numerous family domestic development under the RM5s Multiple Family Residential District as a guideline.

The subject website is within the Maywood area of the Metrotown Downtown Plan location and is made up of four homes: 2 strata structures, a rental building and a vacant lot.
